DMflex requires a full time UI web designer to work on our flagship CMS product “WebGen”, as well as supporting the services and products offered into our blue chip client portfolio. The candidate will have practical experience and a passion for creating innovative websites.

About the Role
 
Responsibilities
·Responsible for the design and development of web pages, graphics, multimedia, GUIs.

• Making design decisions in line with both technical and visual standards
• Driving improvements in the “look and feel” of the client.
• Helping to drive improvements in the areas of design, UI technology and process

·Utilizes storyboarding and graphic pre-designs where appropriate.
·Effectively develops in a clean, well structured, easily maintainable format.

• Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills.

·Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality.

• Contributing product ideas and working with the Product Team to help refine requirements.
• Working with backend developers to integrate business logic and presentation

 
Required Skills:

• Experience in developing websites and/or web applications.  Minimum of 3 years of web design and development experience is required.
• Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability.
• 3 years practical experience in graphics creation with Photoshop, Illustrator, (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Developing high quality HTML, XHTML, CSS, AJAX and JQuery
• Experience developing for multiple browsers, including IE6
• Expert in JavaScript and significant experience with JQuery, JQuery UI and JQuery plug-ins
• Significant experience building AJAX driven interfaces
• Awareness of accessibility and W3C compliance
• A successful track record and proven ability to deliver elegant web user interfaces using modular, reusable code

• Understanding and experience of Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Experience in developing for mobile web browsers and applications
• Experience working with Agile Methodology (SCRUM)
• Experience with Adobe Flash, ActionScript (Macromedia Studio)
• Understanding of C# and ASP.NET
